These points explain the booking process and safe use of hired equipment. The full terms for a particular hire will be supplied before you decide whether to confirm it.
1. Availability requests
Sending an online request does not create a booking. Equipment, dates, the total price, delivery arrangements and the applicable hire terms must be confirmed first.
2. Delivery-only service
Customer collection is not available. Please provide an accurate delivery address and safe, reasonable access for the agreed delivery and collection arrangements.
3. Using the equipment
Follow the supplied instructions and use the equipment only for its intended purpose. Keep the machine and accessories secure, dry and protected from misuse while they are with you.
4. Handover and return
Check the equipment and accessories at handover. Keep all supplied parts together and make them available for collection at the agreed time.
5. Faults and safety
Stop using the equipment if it becomes damaged, unsafe or appears faulty. Contact Harborough Hire Co and do not attempt a repair.
6. Changes to a hire
Ask as early as possible if you need to change or extend an agreed hire. A change is not confirmed until Harborough Hire Co has agreed it.
7. Suitability
Describe the job accurately and check that the surface, fabric, electrical supply, ventilation and access are suitable. General guidance does not replace specialist professional advice.
